Alt Fest 2026: Proposal to Collaborate
Art as an Energetic Witness – A Dynamic Installation Documenting Collective Consciousness at Alt Shift
I am deeply drawn to the energy of your festival and the concept of Degrowth—a philosophy I am currently integrating into my own life. After 25 years of leading a marketing agency, I am deconstructing a former way of life to rebuild in a simpler, more aligned way. Currently finalising my fine art portfolio and returning to university to fulfil a lifelong dream, my work now explores healing consciousness and shamanic-led journeying. My practice focuses on raising vibrations and using art to enhance the energetic resonance of a space.
I would love to collaborate by contributing my artistic and healing energy through fluid, evolving forms. I propose a relaxing yet stimulating interactive installation built upon these three core offerings:
Offering 1: The Living Witness (Installation)
I propose to create an immersive chill-out installation designed to document and reflect the energy of the festival over five days. At its heart, this is a living witness: a projected, animated photographic sequence that evolves organically throughout the event.
The project will weave magical imagery of the surrounding Harz forest with the dynamic flow of the festival. Within a darkened, cosy space (such as a tent), an initial base layer of nature photography will be projected onto various textured surfaces and canvas paintings.
Examples of 2 past exhibited animations are below. Another case study where I worked for Celestion Speakers and Ligwa Sound can be seen here: Case Study - a projected animation for Celestion Speakers and Ligwa Sound at Klub Loco Bristol

Offering 2: The Feedback Loop (Evolution)
To keep the flow and fluidity, I will integrate a continuous feedback loop. By re-photographing and filming the projected layers and feeding them back into new projection material, the work will merge a with the real-time vibrations of the group. Capturing deeper layers and beauty as the energy builds, will creating a dynamic, multi-layered visual narrative of the evolving collective consciousness.
The video example here was created to demonstrate a quick example of how art projected onto canvas and then re-filmed in a natural setting looks. My time here was limited, so it should be used as my artist workings only at this point.
Offering 3: Sacred Co-Creation (Participation)
Beyond the visual installation, I will use my personal art practice and Reiki drumming (I am fully qualified) to hold space for others. I invite participants to enjoy unstructured, sacred art creation within this evolving space. This practice adds a participatory layer to the installation’s energy, blending individual expression into the collective creative mix—documenting the energetic progression through art from many different perspective.
Me practising Reiki drumming with a client from my studio in Suffolk I have also run a number of women’s circles with drumming in Suffolk over the past few years.
